So the New Moon in Leo on Saturday invited us to tap into our Lion’s heart and look honestly at how we’ve been going about our business. Literally!
How have we’ve been showing up? In what ways have we progressed or not? The New moon in Leo invites us to take on the determined eyes of the Lion or Lioness as we create our vision for the next 6 months ahead and reflect on how we might do things differently moving forward.
?On Sunday I got up early for a walk along the beach in a nature reserve where a number of unusual bird species come to refuel on their way down to warmer climes in winter. I had sat an intention for my mindful walk:
?What does my (Lion’s) heart want to manifest in the next 6 months?
As I climbed the birdwatching tower, I thought to myself that spotting wildlife is a bit like searching for spiritual wisdom. Just like the animals we are on the lookout for, new awareness can be right there, but camouflaged from our view by our own fears of not being enough right now. The more we grasp, the less we see.
I so wanted to see the Arctic tern that morning. This magnificent bird that does a roundtrip of 50 000 km every year from Northern Europe via Africa, all the way to the Arctic. EVERY YEAR. Now how’s that for determination, tenacity, courage and will-power?
But all I could see were some geese grazing.
As I started to climb down the steps I said to myself: “it’s when you are fully contented in yourself in each moment, without needing anything else to complete you, that you will have access to all the abundance you wish for”. I smiled to the sky knowing that I was exactly where I needed to be.
And then, as I took the final step onto the ground, there it was: The Arctic tern!! Flying high, as though it had appeared from the heavens, swirling, diving, rising…
Tears in eyes, I whispered: ‘Thank you. Thank you’.
Over breakfast I filled two pages in my journal with intentions, knowing that as soon as I had written them down, I needed to let them all go, practising the art of loving, inspired detachment to outcomes that is at the heart of a heart-led business.
Amongst my intentions are exciting new ways to serve you, better boundary setting and deepened spiritual practise.
Straight from my Lion’s heart with the clarity and conviction and lightness of the Arctic tern.
Will you join me in setting your intentions?
Today take a moment to tune into the whispers of your heart.
What new ways of doing things would you like to explore in your heart-led business?
What are your intentions for the next 6 months?
With my love, always!
