Wholeness is essential to our ability to thrive as individuals, teams, neighbourhoods, families, businesses, and organisations. It is key to resilience, harmony, creativity, innovation and aliveness: it is intrinsic to how life itself works. Yet, instead of wholeness, many of us experience a sense of separation, fragmentation, segregation, polarisation, disconnect, overwhelm, stress and burn-out.
It is a programme that just keeps on giving, there is so much information to learn and unlearn. It is not for the faint-hearted. How you enter is not how you leave: you walk into a chrysalis and leave as a butterfly.
Roots 4 Change feels like a new way of learning. Very grounded, open-minded, open-hearted, expansive. Wholesome and organic. There was equality in contribution and healing among us. It felt like a growing tree: completely open to the flow of life. Roots 4 Change is a safe and loving space. Welcoming everything that comes up with accountability for our thoughts, words and actions.
Roots 4 Change is a container with deep reverence to Mother Earth and awareness of our part in helping, restoring and protecting for the good of the collective. It’s a loving but disruptive container, with the invitation to plant seeds as they call to us. It’s a place to learn and unlearn, as well as to inspire and support as we each sow our seeds and embark on our changemaker path.
Once in a while the gift of deep reflection and learning presents itself – this 28 day journey to become better ancestors is both beautiful, heartbreaking and so very essential! I highly recommend you to participate – it will change how you see life and yourself!
I am a root worker. A shadow dweller. A loving interruptor of degenerative patterns.
Perhaps like you, I was once a Wounded Changemaker trapped in the wheel of ‘never enough’ – fixing, rescuing, pleasing and perfecting – leading to multi-layered stress and frequent exhaustion. A series of stark losses stopped me in my tracks, forced me to surrender, and invited me on an adventurous homecoming journey to embody – one day and one breath at a time – the life-giving ways of living, leading and inspiring change I wish to see in the world.
I AM NOT AFRAID OF THE DARK. YOURS OR MINE.
Saying yes to a whole world means be willing to face painful truths -personal and collective – to sit together with grief, discomfort and imperfection. To look ourselves and each other in the eyes in loving accountability. And to say yes to embracing joy, emotional intimacy and thriving too.
